A very beautiful topic for those who love Spain and everything that deals with Spain (personally I'm really a tourist in my blood!).
It seems that rice dominates the above mentioned region's menus, in the paella, famous worldwide as it's possible to visualize from the grain in the picture below.
The size denotes popularity, that means the bigger is the grain, the more popular is the rice which refers to, the Arroz de Senyoret ("arroz" stands for rice in the Spanish language), Arroz al Horno, Arroz a Banda and so on.
