Latin Americans and Street Food (infographic)

Mexico: street food options available at any time of day, every day.

It seems that in Mexico (e.g. Mexico City) street food options are available to citizens and tourists every day and all day long not only to eat and refresh yourself, but also in order to refresh your mind. They are ideal places for social interaction, to have conversation and make friends.

This option plays also an economic relevant part: for example, in Puerto Rico many street foods are run by ex restaurant owners who present this version their meals to customers at less expensive prices but keeping the same flavour!

In Guatemala street food vendors offer their customers also fruit and home-made juices: according to Brazilians and Argentines indeed, home-made food is higher in quality because they consider the care in the preparation.
