Another smart way to reuse stale bread.
A classical Italian afternoon snack is sometimes cheered by the cake of bread. How many sweet memories are linked to the flavor and aroma of that easy cake, made with leftover bread!
Simple, isn't it? However, the amount of the ingredients will be calibrated according to the amount of bread that you will use.
Break the bread into medium sized pieces and put them in a bow with a little bit of milk, previously heated.
Give it a first mix and then add the egg and two tablespoons of sugar.
Wash and cut the apple (or any other fruit you like) into small pieces and add to the other ingredients, then mix everything with a wooden spoon and pour all into a pan where you have previously put some baking paper on the bottom.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes and let it cool before serving.
