Pizza (part 2) – V.I.F : Very Important Food!

Think about how easy and common eating pizza is. This type of food is so widespread to become not only a fast food restaurant food, but also a finger food and always a good occasion to spend some cheerful time with friends!

And that is not all! Pizza is such a VIP to be the protagonist of many country festivals, feasts and events.

Indeed, a pizza International Expo is dedicated in Las Vegas since 1985. All the people who have to do with pizza, such as pizzeria owners, pizza schools, pizza-makers, pizza oven dealers, managers, meet here. Seminars, workshops and exhibitions are the planned activities and next year they will take place again from 23rd to 26th March, 2015. 

Well, if you can’t go overseas, don’t worry! There was something similar this summer for the first time in Cerveteri (Lazio region), where the “We love pizza” festival was arranged. Several stands served all pizza-based specialties (fried pizza, sweet pizza...) and you could also spectate pizza freestylers and even the World Pizza Eating Championship. 

This is what a pizza-lover would never miss. 

Then, don’t let the next festivals slip and, why not, take part to the championship (for huge-stomached people only)!
