The official fruit of the Winter.
The pomegranate is a fruit typical of the fall season: its shape, very similar to that of a red apple, contains an infinite number of grains with a sweet and sour aftertaste.
This natural product is also called the fruit of the medicine, given the number of beneficial substances for our body which is full of: vitamins, fiber, sugars, flavonoids, antioxidants, and many other active ingredients.
This fruit has vermifuge properties: it is very useful, in fact, against the problem of tapeworm, a rather acute nuisance in man. The pomegranate, however, also contains acids, such as ellagic acid (or tannin), which allows to counteract the onset of diarrhea.
According to studies conducted recently, it would appear that the juice would be able to protect the heart against the formation of atherosclerotic plaques and alleviate disorders related to menopause, such as osteoporosis, arthritis and depression.
In addition to being efficient monitoring against the onset of cancer, the pomegranate is able to erect a protective barrier against Alzhaimer by attacking harmful proteins.
And what about the contribution in term of calories? Very minimal: for every 100 grams of grains are acquired only 63 calories.
