Italian seasonal fruits and vegetables of February

In Italy on February there are still many seasonal fruits and vegetables good for our health.

During the windy February in Italy we start to make the countdown: nearly a month and then it's Spring! We are not alone in this expectation because even the blackbirds, since the second half of February, start singing softly from the first light dawn. The spring is still far away but they are preparing for the season of love. Even if we have not any nest to prepare, like the blackbirds sometimes we are looking for sweetness too.

In those cases, what could be better than choosing between our seasonal fruits:

  • apples
  • kiwi
  • lemon
  • mandarin
  • orange
  • pears
